The carrier picks up your vehicle, transports it, and delivers it to the address you specify. We handle the coordination and paperwork from booking through delivery.

Once you book, we match your shipment with a carrier from our vetted network and send you their contact information along with an estimated pickup window. The driver calls to confirm pickup, inspects your vehicle, and notes its condition on the bill of lading before loading it. At delivery, you or your representative inspect the vehicle together with the driver, sign off, and pay any remaining balance directly to the carrier.

Most shipments take a few days to two weeks depending on distance and route. Longer or less common routes can take more time. We'll give you an estimated pickup and delivery window when you book.

The busiest snowbird route in the country runs the I-95 corridor from states like New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania down to Florida, with a second major corridor running I-75 from the Midwest, including Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois. Rather than make that drive twice a year, many snowbirds ship their vehicle and fly instead. We run these routes and anywhere else in the continental US.

We ship nationwide, but a few route types come up often: seasonal snowbird routes along I-95 and I-75 into Florida, cross-country relocations like California to Texas or California to Florida, dealer and auction routes into major hubs like Houston, Dallas, and Miami, and college students shipping vehicles to and from campus each semester. That's common, and it's not a problem. If a location has restricted access, low clearance, or no room for a large hauler, the carrier will coordinate a nearby, convenient meeting point for pickup or drop-off instead. Just let us know about any access limitations when you book so we can plan around them.

Open transport moves your vehicle on a multi-car trailer exposed to the weather and road debris, it's the most common and affordable option. Enclosed transport moves it inside a covered trailer, protected from the elements, typically used for classic, exotic, or higher-value vehicles. Most shipments run on open carriers, so we can't guarantee the vehicle arrives spotless, road dust and grime are normal. If that matters to you, enclosed transport is the better choice.

Yes. Let us know when you book, that's what the operable question on the estimate form is for. Inoperable vehicles need a winch to load and unload, which takes more time and specialized equipment, so it typically costs a bit more than a running vehicle.

Not for your instant estimate, that's based on your vehicle's general size. Your formal quote does require a VIN, since it confirms your vehicle's exact dimensions and weight and is required for cargo insurance coverage before a carrier is dispatched.

Bring a valid photo ID for whoever releases or receives the vehicle. A working key needs to go with the car so the driver can load and move it, keep a spare with you if you have one. Disable toll transponders like E-ZPass or SunPass, we're not responsible for tolls charged while your vehicle is in transit. Check underneath the vehicle for any fluid leaks beforehand, and let us know about any unusual starting, stopping, or alarm procedures your vehicle needs. The driver will walk the vehicle with you and note its condition before loading.

Most carriers allow a small amount, generally up to 100 pounds, packed in the trunk or cargo area only, never the back seat or passenger seat. Carriers are licensed to haul vehicles, not household goods, so anything beyond that adds weight the truck isn't budgeted for and can put it over federal weight limits at a scale station. Anything you do pack travels at your own risk, cargo insurance covers the vehicle, not what's inside it. Skip valuables, electronics, and anything fragile, and check with us before you pack anything at all, since the final call belongs to the driver at pickup.

About a quarter tank is standard. That's enough for the driver to load and unload the vehicle without adding unnecessary weight. Gas is heavy, and a full tank on every vehicle adds up fast across a truck hauling nine or ten cars at once, weight that can push the load over federal limits.

Yes. Pickup dates within 7 days typically carry a short-notice surcharge, since carriers often need to adjust their existing routes to accommodate a tighter timeline. If you can plan even a week or two ahead, you'll generally see a lower rate.

Your quote is confirmed by our team once we've reviewed your VIN, exact vehicle weight, and current conditions, and your deposit is set at that point, generally holding from there. Your final cost is the amount actually paid to the secured carrier, it's based on real carrier availability at dispatch and can differ from your quote. If that happens, we'll always confirm it with you before a carrier is booked, never after.
